Finally, an UPDATE!!!

I'm so glad you found your way to my site and hope you will enjoy your visit!

If you're an old friend, please check out the NEWS AND UPDATES page as I've just moved all the old information that used to be on this page as well as have added some new news! Every year I say I'm going to be be better about keeping this site updated, and every year I've gotten a tad better.  Those of you who have visited before know that "tad" is the operative word here!

I've been so very fortunate the past five years..I've done things I NEVER imagined I would do while I was in my previous career as an elementary school librarian. I've visited placesI never thought I'd go, met wonderful people, made special, wonderful friends that I would have NEVER met, and have truly fulfilled a life long dream of being able to make something that other people would love as much as I loved creating it.

Since this adventure began I've been in my favorite folk art show in the world, Kentuck, right here in the Tuscaloosa area, I've visited California, had my work in Country Living (October 2001), been the featured interview in Country Marketplace (October, 2004), a feature in our local magazine in December, 2005, and even have a piece pictured in the new Paula Deen collectible Christmas Cooking magazine!  I've also had my work selected to be licensed by Seasons of Cannon Falls (Midwest of Cannon Falls) so that shop owners can find things for their customers.

All the work that is pictured on my website is original, as are the pieces that I bring with me to shows.  I will do commissioned work for items not seen on the website or at shows.  Just bring or send me your ideas!

I am also in the beginning stages of developing punchneedle embroidery patterns.  More news about this in the news and updates page!
